This elegant kitchen transformation in West Ealing was designed for a family living in a beautiful Victorian home.
Referred to us by a previous RMK client on the same street, the family wanted a kitchen that complemented the character of their period property while providing modern functionality for busy family life.

The main kitchen, island, and bar zone feature in-frame cabinetry with classic Shaker doors, combining craftsmanship with timeless appeal. The perimeter cabinets are painted in Little Greene’s Sage Green, while the island stands out in Green Stone Light, adding soft contrast and visual depth.
A combination of knobs, cup handles and pulls in antique brass enhances the traditional look and ties the whole scheme together.
In the adjoining pantry, Jigsaw’s Ascot lay-on furniture continues the Shaker design, finished in French Grey for a subtle, complementary tone. This space offers additional storage and a practical secondary sink area, ideal for keeping the main kitchen clutter-free.
Worktops and splashbacks are in 20mm Cosistone Carrara Classic quartz, chosen for their refined marble effect and excellent durability. The surface brings lightness and elegance to the room while standing up to everyday family use.
Some of the family’s existing appliances were seamlessly integrated into the new design, including the fridge freezer, while RMK supplied and installed new components such as the Caple Butler sink, Quooker tap with tank, and a Caple Mode sink in the pantry. Together, these details ensure the kitchen performs as beautifully as it looks.
