Light Green Shaker Kitchen in London

This traditional kitchen in London blends classic in-frame craftsmanship with a fresh, uplifting colour palette.

Designed to feel timeless yet full of character, the space balances soft tones, warm textures and practical detailing.

The in-frame Shaker cabinetry is finished in Farrow & Ball’s No. 32 Cooking Apple Green, a light green shade that introduces a subtle pop of colour without overwhelming the room. Polished brass handles add a refined contrast, enhancing the kitchen’s traditional appeal while giving it a gently contemporary edge.

At the centre of the room, a generous island mirrors the same light green shade, topped with a natural wood surface to introduce warmth and texture. This combination creates a welcoming focal point, perfect for both preparation and gathering.

Storage has been carefully considered throughout, with ample cabinetry and drawers fitted with dividers to keep everything organised. Open shelving provides the opportunity to display personal pieces, adding individuality and softness to the overall scheme.

We designed and fitted the kitchen around the client’s existing appliances, ensuring they were seamlessly integrated into the new layout. Our approach allows us to accommodate what clients already own, creating a cohesive design where every element works beautifully together.

A coordinating utility area was also incorporated, painted in Ascot, a soft rose shade that complements the kitchen while giving the adjoining space its own identity. Light and understated, it continues the home’s refined yet relaxed feel.
