Celebrating 15 Years in Sheen, and 50 Years of Kitchen Expertise

Milestones like this don’t come around often. This year marks not only 15 years since we opened our showroom in Sheen, but also a much bigger achievement, 50 years of combined experience in the kitchen industry. 

It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and look back at how far we’ve come, from those early days full of ambition, to the trusted, established business we are today. 

From Optimism to Established Presence 

We opened our showroom in Sheen in 2011, full of hope and optimism for the future. At the time, we were only the second kitchen retailer in the area. Since then, many others have come and gone, but we are proud to still be here, continuing to grow and evolve. 

In those early days, we were a Neptune kitchen retailer. However, it quickly became clear that independence would allow us to offer a more tailored experience for our customers. We decided to step away and carefully curate our own selection of furniture manufacturers, a decision that has shaped who we are today. 

Building the Right Partnerships 

In 2013, we began working with Arredo3, a leading Italian kitchen manufacturer. Their modern handle and handleless kitchens have proven incredibly popular, and today we are proud to say we sell more of their furniture than any other UK retailer. 

Alongside this, we expanded into bespoke in-frame furniture, partnering with Curvecraft in Nottingham. Over the years, this relationship has gone from strength to strength, and they are now our main supplier for both in-frame and lay-on bespoke kitchens. 

In 2023, we introduced Jigsaw to our portfolio. Their modular lay on furniture offers excellent value, allowing us to provide a broader range of kitchens and utility spaces across a wider range of budgets. 

A Reputation Built on Trust 

While we are proud of our products, what matters most to us is the experience we create for our customers. 

We’re incredibly proud to have as many Google reviews as all the other Sheen-based kitchen retailers combined. Even more meaningful, many of our clients return to us time and time again; some have bought kitchens from us two, three, even four times, for themselves or for family members. 

That kind of loyalty speaks volumes. It tells us we’re doing something right. 

More Than Just a Kitchen Showroom 

Our commitment goes beyond kitchens. We care deeply about our local community and the people within it. 

We regularly host events in our showroom, bringing local business people together to collaborate, share ideas, and support one another. Our monthly networking meetings have become a valuable space for connection and growth, helping our local community thrive. 

An Owner-Led Approach That Makes the Difference 

The business is owned and run by Jason Smith and Jerry Shaw. As an owner-run company, we take full responsibility for every project we undertake. 

There are no head office targets or sales pressures here. Instead, we focus on what really matters: designing, supplying, and installing beautiful kitchens that will be enjoyed for years to come. 

And our service doesn’t stop once the kitchen is installed. Whether it’s a simple door adjustment or replacing drawer runners years down the line, we’re here for the long term. 

Looking Ahead 

Fifteen years in Sheen and 50 years of experience have taught us a lot, but we still feel just as excited about the future as we did on day one. 

So here’s to the next fifteen years. May they be just as exciting, rewarding, and full of great kitchens and happy customers as the last.
