Join the green trend in kitchens in 2021!

Currently seeing a revival, green is set to be one of the ‘on-trend’ kitchen colours in 2021, and with so many different hues and tones of green, it’s easy to see why!

Choosing green for your new kitchen is the perfect way to feel a little closer to the outside world without ever having to leave our front door! Having been encouraged to spend as much time at home in 2020, and currently for everyone’s safety at the moment too, except for exercising, many of us are limited to staying indoors. By picking a kitchen colour that reminds us of all that nature has to offer, we can truly feel a little less confined in our homes.

Frequently a colour more associated to a traditional kitchen, certain green shades work equally well in a contemporary, modern setting.

Perfectly pistachio!

Opting for an almost ‘tone-on-tone’ range of units in this Cloe kitchen may have been too subtle. But by adding a run of full height units in Pistachio, along with a pair of freestanding mid height units with oversized feature handles, the kitchen becomes alive, reminding us of the spectacular landscape outside.

classy modern kitchen ideas

Classically modern…

Heritage green shades are far from ‘boring’. Stunning cabinetry in this Canterbury kitchen has been lovingly hand painted in a shade of Sage, whilst the feature central island is painted in Fern, balanced by the limestone flooring and rustic wood barstools.

Quintessentially English!

Whilst ‘Vert de Terre’ might not sound very British, this Fallowfield kitchen simply oozes English style. Featuring an array of Davonport’s signature hallmarks, from impeccably crafted curves and an inglenook surround, to the feature dresser with glass doors, it’s an English handcrafted kitchen through and through!

A traditional twist…

Not a typical combination, grey and green seamlessly co-ordinates in this fabulous Tillingham kitchen, which features open shelving, minimal curved pilasters and a mixture of granite and solid timber worksurfaces.

Bar Kitchen Cabinet

To gin or not to gin!

Perfect for stay at home parties, what could be possibly better than having a freestanding drinks cabinet? Handcrafted with a solid oak interior and internal lighting, complete with a mirrored back, the only choice you’ll really have to make is what tipple takes you fancy tonight!

It’s the attention to detail that matters!

Internal and external curves combine in this light and airy soft green kitchen. The feature island sets the scene in this truly spectacular party kitchen, where even the bar stools are oversized champagne corks!

A touch of gold…

Gold and green might not seem like the most obvious choice in this palatial kitchen. The brushed gold accents and feature tiled floor add warmth, allowing the spectacular Carrera marble to shine.

Accessorise with green…

Whether you opt for a painted feature wall, stylised seating or just a few key items in lime or chartreuse, accessorising in green is sure to create an interior that’s full of zing!
